Well I do have some great friends with many memories. Had hoped to get more of us together for a party and only two showed up. Family commitments or something like that and rather short notice on my part. Well my buddies Jim and Sean did show. I turned 50 on Jan17, Jim on Jan27 and Sean Jan 28. We three were able to celebrate plenty and had a great evening of storytelling.

Me, Sean and Jim. The glasses are a new thing for the three of us.
Me and Jim go back to Kindergarten. Sean the second grade. To be honest, in grade school we were not close or best buds, but did occasionally do things together. Our bond grew tight after about the age of fourteen. We had some wild times, that when reflecting back, is alarming some of the things we were doing at such a young age. We had just missed the haze of the Sixties and did our best in the late Seventies and early Eighties to make up for it. The experimenting and partying was insane and incredibly wild. The three of us had a great time reflecting and being together again.
On this night when we got together our biggest laughs came from Jimmy regaling us with stories of his time in East Asia and Taiwan teaching English. The adventures both scary and exhilarating. Jim for most of his life has lived on the edge. We also reminisced over our trip together to California in 1986. The three of us were 22 and decided to take a trip to California. Landed in San Francisco with no plan except to be in San Diego eight days later for our flight home. Honestly that first night was a miracle we did not get arrested. Not exaggerating at all. Ask me about it sometime if interested, because elaborating too much here not good idea. An adventure to be remembered for sure.
Besides Jim and Sean, Vicki was naturally there

To friends everywhere take care and hope to see you soon!
